This piece was painted at my art group in 2022 and boy was it a mission. It was the longest session I’d put into an art piece for years. It took roughly four hours and I used acrylics on a board I bought. I love it and have had it hanging in my hall at my home for the last three or four years. Lovely contrasting red on top of the more subdued hues of blue, it’s a beautiful representation of my heritage and is a snapshot into early pandemic times here in Whanganui, New Zealand.
Would you rock this on your wall?
